Where can I purchase tickets?

Tickets can be purchased online through our website, or at the venue one hour before any showtime.

Are my tickets still valid for new dates?

Many events have been rescheduled due to the pandemic. All existing tickets remain fully valid and useable for the rescheduled date. While tickets for postponed events are non-refundable, they are transferrable – you may simply forward them to someone else to use if you can no longer attend.

Is the theatre accessible?

The Historic Gayety is a historic building, accessible only by stairs.

Is there a dress code?

Guests of The Historic Gayety are encouraged to dress smart. For the comfort and safety of our guests and staff, no large coats or bags are allowed inside the theatre, and all patrons are subject to search by our security team.

How do I know where I am sitting?

Your ticket includes specific information about where you are seated, including Row letters and Seat numbers. Please make yourself aware of this location prior to arriving at the theatre.  You must remain in your assigned seat for the duration of the performance.

What time should I arrive?

Please check your confirmation email or tickets to see the start time. All shows start promptly.  Our lobby opens one hour before show times. Guests who arrive late may be seated at a suitable break, or may be seated in alternative seats until a suitable break.

Does the theatre offer rush tickets?

To streamline entry and reduce congestion, we are not offering traditional rush tickets at this time. However, based on availability, some tickets may be made available online for a reduced price on the day of the show.

What service fees apply to my order?

Our ticketing provider charges a fee on all tickets. There is also a variable Facility Fee. These fees are clearly marked before payment, and are unavoidable, regardless of how or where tickets are purchased.

Where can I park?

There is metered parking along all streets surrounding the theatre.

Can I leave and come back?

For safety and security, no re-entry is permitted. All exits are final. No in-and-outs.

Is there an age limit?

The Historic Gayety is a performance venue and lounge that can be enjoyed by any appropriately mature young person aged 12 or older.  However, some shows may be listed as 19+ only.

What is your refund/exchange policy?

There are no refunds or exchanges for tickets. If a show is postponed, your tickets remain valid for the new date.

What is your late seating policy?

Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of our staff, and may be seated in alternative seats or at a suitable break in the performance.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We are a cashless venue. You may pay and tip with your card of choice, or with any major mobile payment method.

What are you doing to keep people safe?

We still request that masks be worn to enter and move around the venue.  You may remove your mask while you are seated.  The venue is sanitized after each performance. We have made hand sanitizer available at the entrances/exits of the theatre.
